Baterby’s Art Gallery kicked off the newest exhibition with great spirit on Thursday, May 28th. The works of talented artists Elena Bond, Joanne Netting, Charles Lee, Pino, Leonor Fin, Dorit Levi, Gary Benfield and many more where displayed, all of whom captured womanhood and the feminine aura of women with impeccable skill. If we missed you at the show, here are some pictures for you to enjoy.

Among the wonderful vendors present at “Art des Femmes” were clothing and retail stores, Alex and Ani, Tori’s Closet, and Loves Creation. With such a quaint selection of clothing, fashion accessories, and skin and body products, they complemented the show perfectly in style and beauty.

The silent auction was a hit with items such as Dali print, vacation stay at the Springfield Hotel and Spa, handmade jewelry by Alex and Ani and A Lost Society, wine tasting gift basket for two by PRP Wine, as well as a signed basketball from the Orlando Magic team!

We were so happy to have shared this evening with Susan G. Komen Foundation Race for the Cure of Central Florida, the largest nonprofit organization for the fight against Breast Cancer. A portion of the proceeds as well as donations were collected for this cause.

The show was not only a treat for the eyes, but also a treat for the taste buds with delicious assortment of cupcakes from local bakery “Sweet! by Good Golly Miss Holly” and fine wine tastings provided by PRP Wine International.  If this was not enough sensory over-load, these treats were accompanied DJ Cody Henderson from The Dealers, who set the mood in fun popular tunes.

To top off the evening, movement therapist Dr. LaJune Waterfall Wise from NAPW Orlando Local Chapter “Dancing for the Cause” graced us with her presence and breathtaking interpretive dances inspired by pieces she selected from our showroom. She jumped into the mind and emotion of the artwork around her and expressed those pieces through three different songs and dances. The audience was made to experience her feelings through her influential moves.

With such a vast amount of talent and artistry under one roof, it is no wonder how Baterbys Art Gallery continues to be acknowledged for its quality in the art industry. To be great, one must surround themselves with greatness. Thank you to all our vendors who were a part of this event and made it something special for all.
