For nearly six decades, United Cerebral Palsy (UCP) of Central Florida, has served as the expert in providing the best support, education, and therapy to children with special needs via its seven charter schools. In the last ten years, UCP has also supported children without disabilities by incorporating an inclusive education model that allows students with and without disabilities to learn side-by-side. This organization has helped more than 3,000 children in need in this past year alone, and with your help they can serve many more!
On September 5, 2014 from 6 to 9 PM, join Baterbys Art Gallery to help support this cause during our open house celebration. All donations and 10% of all proceeds being given directly to UCP. For the first time, we will be exposing our collection of over 1.7 million artworks, the largest collection of art for sale in Central Florida. The event’s program will include an art-related raffle, complimentary hors d’oeuvres and wine provided by Whole Foods Market Winter Park, live paintings created right before your eyes by local artists Robin Pedrero and Virginia Arakelian, and great deals on artwork! Whether you are looking to give back to a great cause, do something different on a Friday night, become more involved in the art community, or add to your art collection – our open house will be a fun event that will offer you all of those opportunities!
